The Proprietor, Anna Radley, who is originally from the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, England came to New Zealand as a tourist in 2008 and fell in love with everything Kiwi – the tress ferns, the lush greenery, the wide open spaces, the culture and the can-do, friendly approach of the wonderful Kiwi people. Anna run a 4 Star with Visit England Bed and Breakfast in Cambridge, ENGLAND http://www.bedandbreakfastfiftyone.co.uk/ and even had RUBY WAX to stay.
Anna has had a successful career as an Occupational Therapist working in London and The Home Counties and was initially recruited to Rotorua Hospital. However, Anna is passionate about travel, tourism and hospitality and has travelled extensively throughout the world.
Anna therefore understands the needs of her guests and helps them wherever possible to use their time in Rotorua as creatively as possible by spending time with them to establish their unique requirements and will tailor-make and arrange tours as desired.
Anna is an artist, dressmaker and loves all creative pursuits so is creating a welcoming B&B with artefacts from all around the world, original artwork, homemade curtains and cushions and so forth to stimulate visually and tactilely.
Anna loves the outdoors and is developing an organic vegetable garden and also using colourful indigenous plants to inspire rest and relaxation.
Anna’s dream is to create a space so welcoming and relaxing that guests ask to stay longer as they enjoy the tranquillity, bird-song and the company of other international guests
